FAMU TV-20
FAMU TV-20 is Florida A&M University’s student-run television station that produces live newscasts, special coverage, and campus-focused content while giving students real newsroom experience. I have worked as both a producer and senior producer, where I built rundowns, wrote and edited scripts, and ensured shows ran smoothly from start to finish. I also helped produce major broadcasts, including a legislative special and a sports special, contributing to the planning and execution to deliver clear and engaging coverage for viewers.
WAC FIRST STRIKE
WAC First Strike is a student driven sports podcast focused on delivering timely discussions, analysis, and commentary on current sports topics and trends. As an associate producer, I helped develop show topics and story ideas to drive engaging conversations, while also editing both short- and long-form audio and video content for digital platforms. I stayed up to date on sports news to ensure content remained relevant, contributing to the overall quality and consistency of the podcast.
The FAMUan
The FAMUan is Florida A&M University’s student-run newspaper that covers campus news, sports, and community stories while providing students with hands-on journalism experience. As a sports writer, I report on athletic events, athletes, and team performances, producing clear and engaging stories for print and online platforms. I also conduct interviews with players, coaches, and fans to gather insight and follow AP Style to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and strong storytelling in every piece.
